Processing and Shipping
Shipping Information
SBD understands the importance of bringing our customers fast, dependable shipping. We work hard to safely and securely ship your order with the least amount of wait time possible. Normally orders ship same business days (not including weekends and holidays). During sale times, order processing times can be delayed a day or two.
Packaging Information
All orders are sent in plain brown packaging or standard USPS Priority Mail Boxes with no graphics or text except for the shipping label. The shipping label contains your delivery address and a barcode, which represents your order number. USPS and UPS require us to have a return address label on your parcel. SBD does show as the return shipping address. Your package will not elude to its contents.
Signature Requirements
SBD reserves the right to add a signature requirement to any order at our discretion for security reasons. Signature requirements can not be waived once your package has shipped.
We strongly recommend that customers track their package frequently and that there be someone over the age of 18 to receive the package when it arrives.
Butane is not able to ship USPS, all packages containing butane gas will be shipped via UPS Ground, regardless of shipping method selected at checkout.
We do not guarantee arrival dates or times. We do not refund or credit shipping charges for any shipments.All visible shipping times are estimates. If you select a guaranteed shipping service such as USPS Priority Mail Express or UPS 3 Day Select, your guarantee time will be determined once the label is printed and the carrier has picked up your package. USPS Priority Express Mail orders must be placed before 10:30 am PST to ship same day.
Orders are shipped Monday - Friday. We do not ship orders on Sunday or holidays. Please allow 24 hours for your tracking information to update in the carriers system once your tracking number arrives via email.
Smokers by Design will not take responsibility for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen after it has been shipped. You will need to contact the carrier who delivered the package directly for these issues. If your order arrives with broken or missing contents, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Free Shipping applies to domestic orders only. To receive free shipping your order must total $99 after all discounts are applied and before taxes and shipping is applied.
All International shipments are subject to duty fees at the border. Please contact us for more help before placing your order.
Domestic:
We ship Domestic orders using USPS Priority Mail 2-3 days, Priority Express 1-2 days and ground shipping. We offer free Priority Mail shipping on all orders over $100. Ground shipping takes around 3-6 days to arrive after being picked up by USPS. Orders are shipped same day when placed before 4pm MST Mon-Fri and 12pm MST Saturdays. Priority Express orders ship same day when placed before 12pm PST Mon-Sat. Orders placed on Sundays and Holidays will ship the following business day. Same day shipping applies to Salt Lake County customers only.
International:
All orders outside the US will be shipped using FedEx Economy or FedEx Priority or USPS Priority Mail International. Depending on your location and the service selected at checkout, international deliveries may take on average 2 to 12 days. Customers are responsible for eventual duties and taxes before or after receiving the international order(s). For international shipping rates please contact us so we may verify for you.
